John Day was born 20 Aug 1860 in Luton, Bedfordshire, England to Thomas Day and Elizabeth Merchant. He immigrated to Utah when just a young boy.John married Lucy Philena Day Emmett on November 5, 1888. He later married Sarah Bell Tait on 16 Jun 1904.
He died 9 Apr 1930 in Enterprise, Washington County, Utah where he was buried.
