Jane Day was born 2 October 1851 in Luton, Bedfordshire, England the daughter of Thomas Day and Elizabeth Merchant. She immigrated to Utah with her family after they converted to the LDS faith.In Utah she met and married Edmund Bird on 20 November 1869. She died in Kanosh , Millard, Utah, on 26 Sep 1902.
